SECTOR is a bi-monthly comic magazine produced by writers and artists from South Africa.
Following in the footsteps of renowned UK publications like 2000AD and Warrior, SECTOR aims to bring quality indie comics by local creators to local audiences on a regular basis. Each issue contains single chapters of stories from a variety of genres – from horror to fantasy to sci-fi – with the intention of releasing six issues a year. The aim is to produce four original graphic novels’ worth of comics over the course of two years. Serialised storytelling in this format is largely unheard of in the South African comics scene, making this a first for the country.
Contributors include Moray Rhoda, Daniel Hugo, Diorgo Jonkers, Michael Smith, Ben Rausch, and Nas Who.
